Payment Sphere Card Reader Installation Procedure

1.       Open card reader box.

2.       Plug enclosed USB cable into card reader. (Only one side of cable will match the card reader opening)

3.       Plug in the other side of the cable into an USB port on your computer.

4.       Observe a light on the top of the card reader; it will turn “green” when it is plugged in correctly.

5.       Open a text editor or word processor on your computer and swipe a credit or debit card through your card reader, you should see something like,

“%B5555555555^BLACK/ROXANNEJ^
1112101055680000000000424000000?
;5555555555=11121010556800004240?”

If so, then your card reader is operational.

6. To begin processing, go to www.paymentsphere.com, click [User Login] and enter your User ID and Password.  This will open a paymentsphere session where you can begin processing transactions.
